SoundMAT

SoundMAT is an ongoing series of material studies. Crystal growth, oxidation, hydrogels and fluid dynamics are observed at macro scale and translated into sound. Each material is given its own sonic signature. The first two chapters are Dendrite, where salt crystals branch across a dish, and Iron Oxide, where rust blooms and burns through fibre.
